이 앨범은 내가 처음접한 반헤일런의 앨범이다. 베스트 앨범을 그다지 선호하진 않지만 그 당시에는 돈도 없고 음악은 듣고 싶어서 고심하여 선택한 것이 바로 베스트 앨범이었다. 지금이야 데이비드가 보컬로써 몸담고 있었던 1기 음악보다는 새미헤이거가 있었던 2기를 더 선호해서 Dreams나 Why Can't This Be Love, Right Now를 특히 좋아했었다. 1기의 음악들이 아메리칸 하드록 스타일이라면, 2기의 음악은 전형적인 멜로딕 하드락이다. 아무래도 아메리칸 하드록이 내 정서상 맞지 않았던 듯 싶다. 곡들을 전체적으로 살펴보면 상당히 알차다. 대중성만을 고려해서 그런지 듣기 편한 곡들 위주로 채워넣었다. 평론가들로부터 극찬을 받은 Women And Children First나 Fair Warning앨범에 실린 곡들은 거의 없고 데뷔작이나 1984, 5150등 대중들에게 호평을 받은 앨범들에서 대부분의 곡들을 뽑아 실었다. 반 헤일런의 음악에 입문하는 사람들에게는 일단 이 앨범을 들어보라고 권하고 싶다.

처음으로 구입한 반 헤일런의 앨범이기도 하고, 예전에 호주에 한달 정도 놀러갔을때 락 음악이 고파서 kiss의 더블 플래티넘과 함께 구입해서 체류기간 내내 즐겁게 들었기에 더욱 기억이 각별하다. 본작에 수록된 곡들을 들으면 호주의 따뜻한 날씨와 선크림 냄새가 떠오른다.
