빠른전개 속에 그루브함 까지 어느것 하나 프로젝트성 밴드라고 보기엔 너무나 짜임새 있는 The Ruins Of Beverast의 1집 입니다.Nagelfar 의 드러머 Alexander Von Meilenwald 프로젝트 밴드로써 상당히 블랙스러움에 서서히 울려퍼지는 합창은 블랙위에 클래식컬한 느낌까지 상당히 전재가 복잡 미묘하게 이어지는 편입니다.로우한 느낌속에 페스트 하면서도 상당히 그루브 해서 둔탁하거나 특유의 빠른전개로 이어지면 건조하거나 식상한 느낌은 최대한 없앤 전개가 상당히 돋보입니다.

I really respect this artist. I find extremely moving music in about the first half of this album, but the 2nd half didn't make me feel it as much, though the album sounds well played throughout.

칠흑같은 어둠을 느낄 수 있는 앨범이지만, 이 밴드 고질적인 단점.. 바로 너무 길어서 끝까지 듣기가 참 힘들다는 것이다. 평범한 블랙메탈보다 분위기적으로 어두움을 더 느끼고 싶은 리스너에게 추천하고 싶다. 드러머 출신의 원맨 밴드라 드럼 사운드 듣는 재미도 있다.
