Shape of Despair의 앨범중에서 가장 크게 사랑받았던 2집 입니다.Doom하면 느릿느릿한 전개속에서 둔탁함과 멜로딕컬함까지 조금씩 묻어 나오는 게 전체적인 느낌이라고 한다면 이 밴드 역시 느린 전개로 곡전체의 흐름을 이어갑니다.그로울링 보컬속에서 클래식컬한 선율이 스며들어서 상당히 둔탁한 편은 아닙니다.전체적으로 느리다 보니 약간 지겨울 수도 있는게 곡 흐름이 복잡한 구성으로 인해 상당히 난해하거나 쉽게 질리지 않는게 좋았습니다.

Holy cow, I really loved this one. ... even more than Monotony Fields. The mood is incredible. Also, I thought it was cool how they broke right into a driving beat for one song. Overall, masterful funeral doom.

어둡고 칙칙한 구렁텅이 속으로 빨려들어가는듯한 퓨너럴 둠이지만 상당히 분위기있고 감성적이며 느낌충만한 곡들로 인해 감상이 나름 편했던 앨범. 우울 슬픔 절망 처절 정화 등의 키워드로 대변할수 있을듯.. 특히 ...To Live For My Death... 를 가장 인상깊게 감상

정말 뛰어난 앨범이다. 연주도 멋지고 보컬들도 잘 어울어지는듯.
고독하며 쓸쓸하고 서정적인 분위기를 잘 연출했다.
모래속의 진주를 찾아낸듯싶다.
