평균이상으로 완성도를 높이기 위해서는 디프레시브한 침침한 멜로디는 필수가 되었다. Lustre 입니다. 건반의 승리?라고 봐도 좋을 이번 앨범은 늘 그랬듯 엠비언트요소를 어떻게 파트를 나눠야 할지를 분명히 아는 밴드라는 분명한 사실을 좀 더 확실히 각인시켜준 앨범입니다. 보컬파트를 튀지 않게끔 짧게 끊는 방법으로 극대화 시켜서 예전보다 여운을 줄이면서 한 편으론 이 장르의 정의를 내린 듯한 모습을 보여주는 것 같습니다. 살짝 억제시킨듯한 뉘앙스도 있는 편 입니다.

The grinding staticky synth in these songs - if your average musician used it, it would just make it sound cheap and messy. When Lustre uses it, the fuzz creates this depth to the arrangement that makes me swoon. Also notable that A Summer Night is somewhat rockin', and this is the kind of cheery song title that most black metal artists would never use.

Ambient Black Metal의 많은 예들 중에서 가장 적합한 밴드는 이 밴드일 것 같다. 딱 눈감고 차분히 명상에 잠기게 하는 몽환적인 음악이다. 이 밴드와 유사한 스타일인 Basarabian Hills가 있지만, Lustre는 약간 Depressive함을 첨가한 듯 한 음악이다. 얘꺼는 아무거나 집어도 평타 이상은 친다. 본 작도 평타 이상.
