This is one of the masterpieces of Thrash Metal.I always felt sorry for them not to be known as good as Helloween etc. If one ever surfs through the Internet in order to find about the best thrash metal albums ever, they will always end up with Reign in blood, Rust in peace, Master of puppets, in which I believe they are one of the masterpieces. But in those so-called masterpiece lists, Deception Ignored should have had its place. I have always wondered what if they never split up. For all of the songs that took place in this album, every generation should hear about them in case of having recognized the good thrash metal

나름 초기 테크니컬 스래쉬메탈인데 이후의 시기에 나온 같은 부류의 음악과 비교해봐도 이들 특유의 시니컬한 매력이 있어 계속 찾아듣게 된다. 사회비판적인 시니컬함이 살아있는 메가데스와 같은 파지만 좀 더 기계적인 느낌이다(좋은 의미로).

Deception Ignored is one of the most overlooked Technical Thrash Metal albums of all time & is also huge step-up from the band previous albums.

88년에 나온 3집. 한때 엄청 좋아했던 앨범. 지금도 2집과 3집이 우열을 못 가릴정도로 좋다. 생각해보니 88년작치고는 그 시절 메탈음악치고는 음이 세련된듯, 예전부터 그 생각했다. 88년작 중에도 아직도 조악하고 혈기왕성한 사운드가 있는가 하면 이것은 밴드가 이미 산전수전 다 겪은 느낌을 받는다는거. 2집에서 3집 음질이 갑자기 나아진 느낌을 받아서인가.
