이들 음악의 독특함은 이미 이전 앨범들을 통해서 충분히 알 수 있었다. 본 엘범도 느슨한 thrash sound 속이 이들만의 무언가가 녹아있다.

특이한 창법에 대한 얘기는 차치하고, 일단 음악 자체는 이들 작품 중 그나마 괜찮게 느껴졌습니다. 아무래도 괴짜 같은 실험적 부분들이 '비교적' 없는 편이고, 보통의 스래쉬메탈이라는 장르에서 많이 사용되는 악곡 형태에 가까운 모습에, 기타리프도 흔히 듣는 헤비니스의 익숙한 패턴이며, 드러밍에서도 질주감과 묵직함을 겸비했기 때문이라고 생각합니다.

워낙 펜더모니움 앨범을 좋아해서 당시 조금 실망 하긴 했었지만, 좀더 연주 쪾에 중심을 둔 것 같으며 특유한 "우"와 함께한 강렬한 사운드가 이제야 맘에 든다...

미래 적이다, 프록시하다고 포장 하는 밴드들은 셀틱을 본받아야 한다

전작부터 변화된 사운드의 완성판이랄까... 무겁고 대중적인 노래들로 가득~
물론 초기 앨범들로 인해 이들은 전설이 되었지만... 그래도 이 시기 곡들도 듣기엔 좋다~

버릴 곡이 하나도 없을 정도로 좋다! ... 대학교 신입생 시절 워크맨으로 끼고 살았던 추억이 새롭다... 하지만 Celtic Frost라는 이름때문에 저주 받은 명반...
