Desolate-> Nazxul, Pestilential Shadows 에서도 활동함.Woods of Desolation의 1집 입니다.멜로디가 상당히 거칠며 Atmospheric 한 건조한 사운드를 바탕으로 미들템포 적인 구성과 조금 난해한 모습도 보이는 밴드입니다. 장곡 위주다 보니 자연스레 완급조절 과 템포체인지 가깔끔한 편이며 무엇보다 처절하며 거친 보이스 가 비중이 조금 많다는 점 입니다. 차가우면서도 난해한 편이지만 최대한 멜로디 라인으로 짜임새 있게 만든 스타일이 좋았습니다.

본 작의 후기작인 Torn Beyond Reason보다 더 우중충하며 절망적인 감성이 지배적으로 깔려있다. 밑엣 분 말처럼 음질이 로파이하게 되어 있어, 상당히 습하고 답답한(좋은 의미에서) 느낌이 배가 된다. 이들의 외롭고 쓸쓸한 읊조림.

의도한 것인지는 알수 없으나, 상당히 로우파이한 음질을 들려주고 있다. 전체적으로 멜로디컬한 블랙메탈이며, 디프레시브의 궤도에 어느정도 걸쳐있기도 하다.
