The Cold White Light

This is music by serious pros who have a real budget and high production values. However, the corniness of the sound & lyrics had me uncomfortable. I thought I would hear Paradise Lost and Theatre of Tragedy type stuff. Instead it was often grandmacore. I guess in Europe, there is actually a market for radio-friendly grandma-centric metal.

적당히 헤비하고 멜로디 메이킹이 예슬이다. 보컬도 중저음이 이렇게 매력적일줄이야.. 뺄 곡이 전혀 보이질 않는다. 고딕메탈과 대중적인 노선의 접점에서 최상의 퍼포먼스!! cross my heart and hope to die, brief is the light, blood & tears, no one there 를 좋게 들었다.

후기 Sentenced의 완성작. 모든 곡들이 다 높은 수준의 완성도를 가지고 있다.

핀란드의 국민밴드답게 무난무난한 멜로디로 가득차 있다. 개인적으로는 그곡이 그곡같다.

들을수록 와닿는 은은한 우울함이 가득하다. 2, 6번은 가사 해석하며 들으니 정말 좋았다.
