양질의 데쓰메탈이다. 본질에 충실한 오비추어리는 이 방면 터줏대감이다. 곡들도 다 한따까리 하지만 일단 녹음이 최상이다. 올드스쿨이 어쩌구 저쩌구 해도 뮤지션과 프로듀서의 기본 덕목은 연주 기량과 녹음의 질이다. 그런 의미에서 본작은 칭찬 받아 마땅하다. threatening skies, download, rewind, lockdown 은 진정 멋진 곡들이다.

비록 본인은 이 앨범의 수록곡들을 다 못 들었지만 첫곡부터 질주감과 곡명에 딱 맞는 사운드를 보여줬고 타이틀곡은 진짜 기깔났다. 근데 죽음으로부터의 귀환은 해도 결국 1기 오비츄어리는 이 앨범을 남기고 해체하게 된 또다른 비운의 앨범이다. 솔직히 현재 오비추어리의 앨범이 상당히 소프트해진게 2집의 또다른 저주스러운 무언가가 있었나 란 생각이 듬

이 앨범 나올 당시 데스메탈씬보다 하드코어씬이 더 활발했던 것을 증명이라도 하듯,레이블의 압박도 있었겠지만 earth crisis류의 빗다운하드코어스러운 모습의 연주를 들려준다.
