Yngwie Malmsteen을 연상시키는 Carljohan Grimmark의 연주 플레이가 멋진 앨범. 그러나 앨범 자체는 수작이라고 보기에는 다소 무리가 있어 보인다. 앨범에 실려 있는 곡은 지나치게 무난하다. Narnia의 데뷔 앨범은 일반적인 Neo-classical Metal의 전형을 그대로 보여주고 있다. 듣기에는 딱히 나쁘지 않아 보인다. 그러나 밴드만의 아이덴티티는 잘 드러나 있지 않다. 이래서는 Carljohan Grimmark의 뛰어난 연주가 아깝다는 소리를 안할 수가 없다. 그의 연주 만이 이 평범한 작품을 빛내고 있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. Neo-classical Metal을 좋아하는 사람에게는 이 정도의 작품도 좋게 들을 수 있겠지만, 개인적으로 이 장르에 큰 감흥을 못 느끼기에 이 앨범을 썩 좋아하지 않는다. 다만 기타리스트의 연주가 인상적이었던 작품으로만 기억하고 있다. 그래도 이 앨범에 혹평을 하긴 했지만, 다음 작품들에 관심을 가게 한다는 점에서 이 앨범은 절반은 성공한 작품이라 해야 겠다. 확실히 Carljohan Grimmark의 연주는 범상치 않아 보인다. 그의 연주가 궁금해서라도 나는 이들의 다른 작품들도 들어봐야 겠다는 마음을 먹게 할 만큼 그의 역량은 이 앨범에서 빛나고 있다.

Album offer very consistent listen, has crisp production and a good melodic approach to songwriting, that will sit well with old Yngwie Malmsteen fans.

Narnia just don't deliver anything interesting or strong on this album, but it's serviceable for fans of the genre.
