밀레니엄 시대 안팍의 시점에서 대표적 밴드 중 하나이다. 그래서 샀다. 비록 새 시대를 맞이하며 밴드도 예전같은 모습을 보이지 않았다지만 한 시대를 풍미한 밴드의 자취라고 생각하고 구입하였다. 시디 규격을 꽉 채운 앨범이라 아쉬울 것도 없고 맨슨에 대해 잘 모른다면 이 앨범이면 족하리라 생각한다. 더불어 당대의 센세이션을 일으킨 매트릭스까지 추억

베스트 앨범이란, 한 밴드의 전성기가 지나가는 시점을 거대자본이 후벼파는 시점과 그 시기를 함께한다는 점에서 지금 떠올리면 조금 울적하기도 하다. 이 베스트 앨범은 이 시기까지 마릴린맨슨의 대표곡들이 꽉꽉 눌러담겨 있는 좋은 구성으로 되어 있다.

1집부터 5집까지 이들의 히트곡을 총망라한 컴필레이션 앨범. 입문자나 오랜 팬이나 무난하게 들을 수 있다. 개인적인 바람으로는 Tainted Love나 Personal Jesus를 빼고 Dope Hat이나 Great Big White World가 들어갔으면 100점을 줬겠지만...
