Recorded and mixed at Gorysound Studios in June 1991. All music and lyrics by Morgan Håkansson.
Two different versions of the demo exist, one with colour artwork titled "Fuck Me Jesus" and another with black & white (most probably a later pressing).
Reissued in April 1995 by Osmose Productions on CD and 7", the latter limited to 700 copies.

사실 marduk하면 다들 떠올리는 '광폭함, 사악함, 폭력성!'은 그들만의 전유물이 아닐뿐더러 그들의 방식으로 빚어낸 그 사운드도 개인적으로는 좋게 봐줘도 B급 정도밖에는 되지 않는다고 생각한다.
뭐 누군가가 '너 예전에 들었잖아~' 하고 따진다면 Those of the Unlight, Opus Nocturne은 꽤 좋아했다, Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered도 많이 들었다. 라고는 이야기 할 수 있겠지만..
(Sulphur Souls은 명곡입니다. 그건 맞지요. 쳐보면 재미있습니다.)
많은 사람들이 좋아하는 Panzer Division Marduk도 나에겐 영 재미가 없었었고, La Grande Danse Macabre의 끔찍함 이후로는 이들의 풀렝스는 구매한 적이 없을 정도이니 애시당초 marduk과 나는 그다지 좋은 상생관계는 아닌 셈이다. 아니 뭐 따진다면 스웨덴 블랙메탈에 대한 선입견을 가져다 준 밴드들 중에 하나이니 악연이라고도 할 수 있겠다.
그렇다 하더라도 이 Fuck Me Jesus는 20년 전의 그 어린시절 핫뮤직의 기사에서부터 '와 얼마나 사악할까, 얼마나 이단적이고 불경스러울까...'라는 마음에 꿈에나 그리던 작품이었던건 사실이다. (물론 그렇게 꿈에나 그리던 당시에 난 마덕의 다른 앨범들은 들어보지 못했었다.)
그래서 Marduk이 별 볼일 없는 밴드라고 확고하게 생각할 때에도 '기회가 되면 한번 쯤 ... See More

아직은 밴드의 정체성이 확립되지 않아 블랙메탈에 영향을 받은 데스메탈을 들려줌. 보컬은 블랙 스타일이지만 연주는 Bathory나 Kreator/Sodom 초기앨범 등이 연상되는 리프/사운드인 듯. 개인적으로 초기 Thrash/Death를 좋아하는터라 오히려 이후의 앨범보다 더 선호함. 예쁜 앨범 자켓도 플러스 요소.

딱히 재밌는 것도 아니고 촌스럽지 않은 것도 아니고 이 앨범이 사악한 건지도 모르겠다. 약간은 음침하긴 했고 앨범커버가 언홀리하긴 했다. 그리고 졸립다.
