Krieg 하면 어느정도 미국씬에서 상당히 역량이 큰 밴드 입니다.여러모로 4집은 평이 아주 좋았던 앨범 인데 부분적으로 살펴 본다면 완만한 흐름 속에서 이어지는 리프의 심플하 반복과 보이스의 흐름이 인상적으로 다가왔습니다.특히 전반기 작품과 비교 한다면 딱딱한 느낌이 많이 적어진 반면 타이트한 느낌과 보이스의 비중이 전체적인 앨범에 잘 맞게 이어지면서 완급조절이 보이스와 함께 이어지는 듯한 자연스러움이 좋았습니다.

1990~20000년대 미국의 로우 블랙메탈에 대해 이야기 하면 거진 항상 나오는 밴드는 judas iscariot이나 krieg 등인데 그만큼 이들의 음악이 좋고 또 어필이 되기 때문일 것이다. 으르렁 거리는 그로울링 보컬이 꽤나 잘 어울리면서 전체적으로 상당히 어둡고 사악하며 계속 질주해 나간다. 4,5번곡 추천. 미묘하게는 이 전작이 좀 더 낫다는 생각도.
