2000년대 접어들면서 메탈 씬에 새로운 흐름이 하나 생겨났는데 그중 하나가 바로 정통 Thrash Metal의 부흥이었다. 그때까지만 해도 정통 Heavy Metal은 스래쉬 메탈 부흥의 곁가지에 지나지 않았다. 그러나 2000년대 중반이 지나가면서 헤비메탈도 우수한 밴드들이 차츰 생겨나면서 일정한 조류를 형성할 수 있었다. 이 흐름을 대표하는 밴드로는 Striker, Cauldron 그리고 Enforcer 등이 있다. Enforcer는 분명 헤비 메탈, NWOBHM을 추종하는 밴드지만 이들이 활동하는 시대는 더이상 한가지 만을 추종해서 살아남을 수 있는 환경이 아니다. 이들의 사운드에는 헤비 메탈적인 리프와 멜로디가 핵심이지만 Helloween 이후 등장한 Power Metal의 요소도 읽어낼 수 있다. 이질적인 요소가 섞여 있기는 하지만 이들의 모토가 80년대 정통 헤비 메탈의 부활이니 만큼 본인들의 정체성을 훼손할 정도는 아니다. 복고식 헤비 메탈을 좋아하는 메탈 팬이라면 Enforcer의 Into the Night는 무척 반가운 작품이 될 것이다.

폴 디아노 시절의 메이든과 판박이 스타일을 보여준다. 젊음의 패기로 꽉 찬 앨범이지만, 펑크 스타일 때문인지, 쉽게 질리는 면이 있다.
