Black Metal의 황제 Emperor의 첫 공식 라이브 앨범. 본작은 황제라는 이름에 걸맞는 라이브 앨범이라 할 수 있겠다. Emperial Live Ceremony는 이 밴드가 얼마나 라이브 무대에서 역동적인 힘을 발휘하는지 유감없이 보여주고 있다. 세트리스트부터 앨범은 정말 알찬 내용으로 가득차 있다. Emperor의 최고의 명곡으로 거론되는 I Am the Black Wizards부터해서 With Strength I Burn, Inno A Satana까지 이 앨범은 그동안 밴드가 활동하면서 만든 곡들 중에서도 알맹이만 담아냈다. 이 곡들을 포함하여, 이 라이브 앨범에 실려있는 모든 곡들은 스튜디오 앨범버전보다 훨씬 좋게 들린다. 이 앨범에서는 블랙 메탈의 황제로서의 위엄이 고스란히 드러나고 있다. Emperor의 라이브가 블랙 메탈씬에서 어째서 유독 유명한지 이유를 잘 설명해주고 있다. 그러나 이 라이브 앨범은 수록 시간이 짧은게 흠이다. 분명 최상의 곡들만 모아놓았지만, 48분이라는 시간은 지나치게 짧게만 느껴진다. Emperor가 이 라이브 앨범을 만들기 까지 보여준 그들의 굵직한 활동을 고려해봤을 때 48분이라는 시간은 지나치게 짧다고 하지 않을 수가 없다. 적어도 CD 한 장을 가득 채울 수 있을 분량의 세트리스트는 나와야했다고 본다. 분량이 적은 만큼 퀄리티는 대단히 높다고 할 수도 있지만, ... See More

09년 4월 20일에 발매된 라이브 Live Inferno 앨범과 비교하여 상당히 높은 퀄리티를 갖추고 있는 수작
셋리스트 부터가 상당히 감동적인 앨범이다..
음악으로만 들으면서도 이샨의 무대 매너가 생생히 보이는 듯한 착각을 일게 하는 앨범 - 개인적으로 레코딩 상태는 그닥 좋지 않다고 생각한다..- 이다.
국내외의 많은 청자들이 엠퍼러 최고의 트랙으로 뽑는 I Am the Black Wizards 와 Thus Spake the Nightspirit, With Strength I Burn, 엠퍼러 특유의 사운드를 지닌 트랙 Inno A Satana 까지 모두 훌륭하게 완주 되어 상당히 기분 좋은 앨범.

그 옛날 다음 악숭카페에서 이걸 그 구린 화질로 얼마나 봤는지 모르겠다. 블랙메탈 장르에서 더 이상 좋을 수 없는 라이브앨범!

nie som veľkým fandom živákom (byť priamo na koncerte je omnoho lepšie), ale je to celkom podarený živý záznam
