자타가 공인하는 익스트림씬 최고의 밴드 Dimmu Borgir 의 정규 두번째 공연실황 앨범
The Invaluable Darkness.

빌보드 차트 43위를 기록하며 현재까지 북미에서만 약 10만장을 팔아치운 근작 In Sorte Diaboli 유럽투어와 헤드라이너로서 6만여팬들앞에서 장관을 연출한 WACKEN 패스티벌의 공연등이 담겨져있다.
두장의 DVD와 한장의 CD로 구성되었는 풀 박스셋 버전은 34곡의 라이브 영상과 12곡의 라이브 음원, 밴드의 리더 silenoz가 직접 촬영과 편집에 참여한 비하인드 영상과 공식 뮤직비디오 6곡등 압도적인 볼륨을 자랑한다.

고급스런 재질의 슬립케이스와 소책자 형식으로 구성된 DVD 팩키지 역시 내용물 만큼이나 인상적이다. 세련된 레이아웃 디자인이 돋보이는 총 38페이지의 부클릿의 첫면은 메탈 헤머 편집장 Thorsten zahn의 음평이 담겨있으며 가사들과 고 퀄리티의 사진, 크레딧등이 뺴곡히 들어차 있다.

수록된 비디오와 음원들의 퀄리티 역시 최고수준이다.
비록, 첫번째 DVD에 담긴 유럽투어 실황이 용량문제때문인지 두번째 DVD의 WACKEN 페스티벌에 비해 다소 화질의 열화가 있는듯 하지만 우려할 수준은 아니며 편집과 무대연출, 밴드의 뛰어난 연주실력과 퍼포먼스, 잘 분리된 5.1 채널의 음원등 완벽에 가까운 현장감과 영상미를 ... See More
