예전에도 스티브 모스 시절도 종종 듣곤 했다. 현시점 느끼는 점은 이 앨범도 좋다. 다들 리치블랙모어를 아쉬어 하지만 리치가 나감으로 인해 레인보우를 우리는 즐겼고 딥퍼플은 새롭고 훌륭한 기타리스트를 맞이하여 새로운 길을 갈 수 있었던 것 같다. 스티브 모스와의 첫걸음은 실패가 아니라 새로운 도약같다. 1-5 전부 다 좋았고 4번 강추

리치의 딥퍼플이 영향력이 크지만, 이 음반도 생각보다 나쁘지 않다. 4번 같은 트랙에서 스티브 모스도 충분히 능력있는 기타리스트라는 생각이 들었다.

1,4가 주요곡들이고 특히 4는 스티브모스 시대 딥퍼플의 대표곡중 하나임 개인적으로 2,6,9도 좋음. 멤버들끼리 새기타리스트 누구로 할까 라는 다수결 투표를 했었고 결국 스티브모스로 결정났는데, 원래는 조 새트리아니와 잉베이도 가입 문제로 대화가 오갔었음
