Concept album of the true story of the Whale-Ship Essex. Which was being
attacked by a sperm whale. In succession the ship sunk, men resorted to
cannibalism in order to survive.
The story of the Essex was the inspiration for Hermann Meville and his famous

1집을 넘기에는 조금 아시웠던 Ahab 의 2집 입니다. 둠메틀 이라면 처절하면서 연주하는 것 과 무거운 보이스 가 기본적인 구성 입니다만, 크게 바뀐 모습은 아닙니다. 오히려 더 느릿느릿하다 못해 전작에서 보여졌던 클린보컬과 그로울링의 조화의 간격이 더 넓어진 것 말고는 둠메틀 의 전개를 보여줍니다.오히려 장송가? 느낌보다 기타의 테크니컬한 면이 늘었다는게 특징으로 보여집니다.
