| 프로그레시브의 대표적인 그룹. 역시 호주는 프록메탈의 전문국가라는 생각이 든다. Vanishing Point와 몇 안되는 그룹이 모두 여기 출신이기 때문이다. 하지만 버니싱포인트는 프록메탈이라기 보다는 멜스파워라는 색깔이 짙다. 반면 세레니티는 웅장한 파워가 느껴지는 프로그레시브 메탈이라는 느낌이든다. 즉 전형적인 프록계열을 잘 보여준다. 전반적으로 평작이상으로 듣기 괜찮다. 웅장한 보컬코러스도 좋고 스피드도 어느정도 받쳐준다. Oceans Of Ruby에서 중간중간 데스보이스도 넣어주는 센스도 있다. 멜스파워의 변화를 잠깐 느끼고 싶을 때 들으면 괜찮을 것같다. |
